These workshops are aimed primarily at Trustees and Principal Officers and are ideally run with individual funds, but are also delivered as public courses.

The FSB's Trustee Toolkit training programme is an online development programme for  trustees, based on the Registrar of Pension Funds’ guidelines on good  governance for retirement funds which assists trustees to get a better  understanding of their role and function. The Professional Principal Executive Officer (PPEO) qualification:
This occupational qualification will enable Principal Officers to obtain formal recognition for their knowledge and experience gathered over the years, thereby lending professional credibility to the critical importance of the role of Principal Officer in the retirement savings of South Africa’s working employees.
